MADISON, WI (February 12, 2025) — Get ready to come home, Badgers! Wisconsin Athletics, along with the UW-Madison and the Wisconsin Alumni Association have announced dates for 2025 UW Homecoming festivities. Wisconsin will square off with the Iowa Hawkeyes in the 117th Homecoming Game in UW history on October 11 in a battle for the Heartland Trophy.
The Badgers have won 10 of their last 11 homecoming matchups and last hosted Iowa for Homecoming in 2021. In that meeting, Wisconsin scored a 27-7 win over the No. 7 Hawkeyes.
“Camp Randall Stadium is a special place and the atmosphere on game day is among the best in all of college football,” head coach Luke Fickell said. “The support of Badger fans and alumni really does give us a homefield advantage and I can’t wait to see our building rocking again this fall.”
A full slate of activities will be planned for the week of October 6, including the Block Party and Pep Rally, as well as the annual Fill the Hill fundraiser where flamingos flock to Bascom for every gift made.
“We’re excited to welcome all UW alumni and friends back to campus to celebrate Badger spirit and connections as we’ve been doing for more than a century,” said Wisconsin Alumni Association Executive Director Sarah Schutt. “It’s a special time of year to recall favorite traditions and make new memories. We’re also grateful for the Student Homecoming Committee at the Wisconsin Union for their leadership of the Homecoming parade and student activities throughout the week.”
Fans can make plans early and secure football season tickets now for the best chance to take part in the Homecoming game vs. Iowa.
In the month of October, Wisconsin will travel to Ann Arbor to take on Michigan (Oct. 4) before hosting Iowa on Oct. 11. The Badgers will then welcome Ohio State, the defending CFP National Champions, on Oct. 18 before heading west to face Oregon on Oct. 25 in Eugene.
Select game times and TV designations will be announced at a later date.
Special Note: Wisconsin football season ticket reorders are available now. Both existing season ticket holders, and Badger fans looking to get in on the action, can act today to secure their spot at Camp Randall for every home game of the 2025 season. Season tickets for the 2024 season sold out prior to the home opener and Camp Randall hosted six sellouts for the first time in more than 15 years.
