KAUKAUNA, Wis. (Nov. 25, 2024) —St. Paul Elder Services (SPES), a community dedicated to enriching the life experience of the individuals it serves, is excited to welcome Dr. Kelsey Kienert as its new medical director. As medical director, Dr. Kienert is tasked with providing direct medical care to SPES residents, leading problem-solving efforts when medical questions or matters arise and maintaining the high standards of medical care that SPES has become known for throughout the communities that it works with.
“What drew me to St. Paul Elder Services most of all was the culture,” said Dr. Kienert. “Everyone — from the residents to those that utilize our services both here and in their own homes to the associates — take great pride in being part of the SPES team. People in all stages of life are celebrated and treated with dignity. It’s clearly a unique place.”
As a board-certified internal medicine physician with experience as the regional primary care medical director for Ascension, Dr. Kienert brings a set of skills uniquely suited to her role at SPES. She is interested in general primary care for the entire lifespan with a particular focus on ensuring the safety and quality of care for the aging population. Dr. Kienert practices an empathetic while data-driven approach that makes her a perfect fit for SPES’ person-first philosophy. She is currently earning her Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in healthcare quality analysis.
