Green Bay, WI – February 13, 2024 –Since 1995, Brown County and Oneida Nation students have been challenged to paint, draw, or draft a piece of creative writing celebrating a theme inspired by the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The 2024 ‘s celebration exhibition theme was Bridging Cultures, Celebrating Differences. Exhibiting now at the Neville Public Museum are the award-winning works of creative writing and illustration by 19 Kindergarten through 12th grade students representing 13 area schools.
Organized collaboratively, the Brown County Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Committee seeks to build inclusivity, celebrate diversity, and work towards social justice within the local area and beyond.
Bridging Cultures, Celebrating Differences will be on display from March 3, 2024.
