Gore will discuss her love for her hometown, her commitment to change in the community, and the Brewers Community Foundation’s impact on Milwaukee.
Gore has led community efforts for the Brewers since 2009, supporting nonprofits that improve the lives of area youth and families in education, health, recreation, and basic needs. She serves on numerous boards, including the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, Sojourner Family Peace Center, and Hank Aaron Chasing the Dream Foundation. Gore has received honors from Carroll University, Boys and Girls Clubs, Girl Scouts Wisconsin Southeast, and the Donald Driver Foundation, and was named to the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Hall of Fame, as well as one of the publication’s Women of Influence.
Through public programming such as the Marquette Law School Poll, “On the Issues” conversations with newsmakers, public lectures by leading scholars, conferences on issues of public significance, and the work of its Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education, Marquette Law School seeks to advance civil discourse about law and public policy matters.
