Green Bay Botanical Garden: Announces new president & CEO

(Green Bay, WI) (February 22, 2023) – Exciting news! Green Bay Botanical Garden has found its next President & CEO, Dr. Laura Nelson! For the past eight years, Nelson has been the Vice President & Chief Medical Officer for Prevea Health.

“We are so pleased Laura will be our new leader,” shared Terri Trantow, Green Bay Botanical Garden Board Chair. “She not only has a strong business background, but she is also a former board member with a strong passion for the Garden. She brings 25 years’ worth of exceptional leadership experience with strengths in relationship building, collaboration, program development and change management.”

In addition to a medical degree from UW-Madison, Nelson has an MBA from the University of St. Thomas and is a Certified Executive Coach.
