Day by Day: Announcing Streets of Hope 2024: A night of art and impact benefiting Day By Day Shelter

OSHKOSH, WI — Day By Day Shelter is holding its annual fundraiser,  Streets of Hope, on Oct. 11 from 6 to 11 p.m. at Becket’s Center Atrium.

Streets of Hope tells the stories of Day By Day Shelter and its guests, shifts public perceptions of homelessness in the Oshkosh community and raises funds to support the shelter’s daily operations and expand its services.

Streets of Hope will be a night to appreciate street culture as a birthplace for the arts, highlighting resilience, vitality and diversity. This immersive and interactive art experience creates a positive platform to raise awareness and funds to support those in our community who are suffering from homelessness. The event features street food, live music, live art and performances by locally acclaimed artists.

Day By Day Shelter opened the doors at its new location at 420 Ceape Ave. in May 2023. As the first purpose-built homeless shelter in the state of Wisconsin, Day By Day offers shelter, food, programming and assistance to help the most vulnerable adults in the greater Oshkosh community get back on their feet. During its first year of operations at the new location, the organization served more than 350 people.

“Homelessness remains a growing crisis in the United States, and it’s not confined to urban areas. We are proud of the impact we are making in Oshkosh and grateful to those who support our mission through giving,” said Executive Director Molly Yatso-Butz. “Streets of Hope is a special night to come together, celebrate, and share our impact stories.”

Tickets are available now, starting at $50. Event sponsorships are also available, with packages including VIP tickets, marketing and merchandise.
