CG Schmidt: Announces promotion of Ryan Schmidt to managing director, leading education market operations

[Milwaukee, WI] – CG Schmidt proudly announces the promotion of Ryan Schmidt from Project Executive to Managing Director, marking an important move to reinforce the company’s commitment to excellence in client service and strategic growth within the education sector, encompassing K-12 and higher education projects.

Ryan obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Marquette University in 2007 and has professionally returned to campus since then to oversee various improvement projects. In his over 15 years with CG Schmidt, Ryan has taken part in 60 projects that account for $671 million in construction
revenue. In the K-12 education sector, Ryan has managed nearly $900 million in construction projects over the last five years, which have contributed to the improvement of learning facilities of approximately 14 school districts across Wisconsin, including a $600 million Racine Unified School District referendum
project. The project is an eight-year scope of work that services all 24 school facilities within the district and is set to complete in 2028.
