The iconic gold angel of Madison’s 135-year-old Attic Angel Association and its senior living community got a little more wind beneath its wings with the September unveiling of a new logo and streamlined website.
The logo features a contemporary typeface that complements a light and airy version of the angel, and the philanthropic organization’s website is now streamlined to showcase all four corporations that operate under the Attic Angel umbrella (Attic Angel Association, Attic Angel Prairie Point neighborhood of homes, Attic Angel Place senior community, and Attic Angel Management Services).
In this 135th anniversary year, Attic Angel’s new brand look is both fresh and timeless, according to Kelly DuBois, Vice President/Marketing and Donor Relations. “The refreshed logo retains Attic Angel’s heritage and uniqueness in the marketplace,” she says. “At the same time, it presents a modern vibe that invites new generations to live, work and volunteer here.”
Attic Angel Association was founded in Madison in 1889 by two sisters interested in the welfare of a local family. Their father coined the name when the young women descended from the attic with armloads of goods to share with those in need. The membership organization grew and became well-known for its hometown flavor in fundraising, volunteering and satisfying identified needs in the community through grants and other ventures, including their focus on quality of life for seniors and children.
