The Titan 100 program, devised and delivered by Titan CEO, is a national program across the US that aims to acknowledge the most accomplished business leaders across both the private and public sector. Steve was selected based on his exceptional leadership, vision, and passion throughout his more than 35-year career across Wisconsin’s business landscape. Over the past decade, Steve has propelled Alto-Shaam forward, with the business doubling sales under his direction and dedication to building a thriving, multi-generational company in the foodservice equipment industry.

“The Titan 100 are changing the way that business is done in Wisconsin,” said Jaime Zawmon, President of Titan CEO. “These preeminent leaders have built a distinguished reputation that is unrivaled and preeminent in their field. Their achievements create a profound impact that makes an extraordinary difference for their employees and clients across the nation.”

Under Steve’s leadership, Alto-Shaam has upheld its pioneering legacy that began with his father Jerry Maahs, who founded the company in 1955. Steve’s commitment to exceeding customer expectations has driven the company’s evolution, ensuring that Alto-Shaam remains at the forefront of technological advancements and industry trends. “Carrying on the legacy to me meant ensuring that the true entrepreneurial story of my father would never fade away or disappear,” Steve said. “He created the opportunity and built Alto-Shaam into the global leader it is today. I took it as my responsibility to continue it, focusing on transforming Alto-Shaam into a leading innovator in the foodservice equipment industry. By constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible, we ensure that we exceed our customers’ needs in an ever-evolving industry.”

Steve will be honored in a limited-edition Titan 100 book and profiled exclusively online. He will also be honored at an awards ceremony on January 30, 2025, at Fiserv Forum.
