MADISON, Wis. – Two individuals were honored by the Wisconsin Bankers Association (WBA) for their excellence in banking, community service, and civic involvement. WBA hosted a celebration on Friday, August 25 at its headquarters in Madison, where a Leaders in Banking Excellence Wall installation displays a tribute to remarkable current and former bankers. The wall, established in 2020, now profiles 24 exceptional leaders.
The honorees in the Class of 2023 Leaders in Banking Excellence are Michael Bock, Dairy State Bank, Rice Lake, Wis. and the late John Kujawa, Farmers & Merchants Bank, Berlin, Wis.
“We are very pleased to recognize the outstanding contributions of Mike and John,” said Rose Oswald Poels, WBA president and CEO. “They are among the influential bankers who have shaped our industry into what it is today and have made a lasting impact on their communities.”
