MILWAUKEE, WIS. – March 1, 2023 – Milwaukee Bucks Assistant Coach Vin Baker will host a private charity event on March 31 at Gather at Deer District to celebrate the good works and big ambitions of the Vin Baker “Bouncing Back” Foundation. Additionally, Baker will share plans for the upcoming opening of the Vin Baker Recovery centers, which will provide new beginnings to people struggling with addiction.
The intimate event, New Beginnings, An Evening with Vin Baker, is presented by Nuna Baby, a world-renowned leader in luxury baby gear. Proceeds will benefit the Vin Baker “Bouncing Back” Foundation and its work to diminish the impact of addiction.
Baker, who’s spoken openly about his battles with alcoholism, announced in 2021 that he planned to open two local treatment and recovery centers, one in Milwaukee and one in Green Bay. Now, that plan is coming to fruition. Known as Vin Baker Recovery, the centers will open this summer and help people with alcohol and drug addiction and dependency.
“I understand addiction and feel I have a responsibility to provide hope for people who aren’t in healthy situations,” said Baker. “Through Bouncing Back and Vin Baker Recovery, I hope to lift the stigmas around addiction and ensure treatment reaches all people suffering from addiction, fairly and with dignity.”
On March 31, Baker’s biggest supporters—his family, friends, foundation team, the Milwaukee Bucks, Nuna and more—will join him to celebrate this accomplishment and raise funds to further his mission.

New Beginnings, An Evening with Vin Baker will feature a reception at Gather at Deer District with refreshments and light appetizers, followed by a Q&A with Baker. Event proceeds, including support from corporate sponsors like Nuna Baby, will help improve the lives of individuals, families, and communities affected by addiction.
