Valley VNA Senior Care: Opens new edition, construction continues

The 115-year-old Neenah nonprofit completes phase 2 of a $9.5 million edition and remodel at a time when senior living quality and safety are more critical than ever.

NEENAH, Wis. — Construction on Valley VNA Senior Care started in 2021 with discussions of the capital campaign dating back several years prior, this project has gone through several reiterations and the pandemic opened new challenges.  The new addition is opening this month and will be a huge milestone in the project as the building will be halfway through construction, with everything to be completed by December 2024.  Valley VNA invites the community to their ribbon cutting on October 19th at 10:00 a.m. to showcase the new 11-room addition and the Amber Court remodel completed in Spring 2023.  Take a walk through the facility and see the difference that has already been made.

Valley VNA supports families who need a safe place for their loved ones to go when they require specialized care and a place to feel at home.  The Caring for Generations campaign will enable Valley VNA Senior Care to enhance and advance the safety of common area spaces such as bathrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and lounges. Other living quarters, outdoor courtyards, and special amenities like the Namaste Room, Fitness Center, and other spaces will all be added or improved. The results of this campaign will ensure that people with dementia or increased physical requirements will be better accommodated and enjoy their surroundings.

Valley VNA continues its capital campaign, Caring for Generations, during the final year of construction.  As other companies felt the pressures of a post-pandemic economy, Valley VNA was no different.  What started as a $6.25 million project grew to $9.5 million due to construction costs, state regulations, labor, and inflation costs.  Valley VNA looks forward to the completion of the project to elevate its facility and keep it as Neenah-Menasha’s top source of compassionate senior care.
