Uline recognized as an employer of choice for the third time
KENOSHA COUNTY– Uline, North America’s leading distributor of shipping, industrial and packaging materials, was named to the Forbes annual list of America’s Best Large Employers. Recognized for its exceptional culture and work environment, Uline continues to add to its team in Southeast Wisconsin with about 460 open positions, including 160 customer service and warehouse roles and about 300 corporate roles
“It is a tremendous privilege to be acknowledged by Forbes as one of America’s Best Large Employers, and we’re honored that our employees have once again recognized the high-caliber company culture and work environment that makes Uline a great place to work,” said Gil De Las Alas, Uline’s Chief Human Resources Officer. “Uline attracts incredibly talented, dedicated employees, and we’re grateful for the growing Uline team that commits daily to the same standards of excellence and quality of service.”
The Forbes ranking identified America’s Best Large Employers through an independent survey taken by approximately 45,000 American employees working for companies with more than 1,000 workers in the United States. Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to pinpoint the companies liked best by employees. Statista’s survey was anonymous, allowing participants to openly share their opinions. Respondents were asked, on a scale of zero to 10, how likely they’d be to recommend their employer to others. In addition, participants were also asked to rate their employers on criteria including safety of the work environment, competitiveness of compensation and advancement opportunities.
Previously recognized by Forbes in years past, Uline offers industry-leading benefits, as well as a Tuition Assistance Program for continuing education and scholarship programs for family members. On-site perks like a free fitness center, beautifully maintained walking paths and a café with healthy, affordable meal options help promote work-life balance for employees. Uline also offers performance and profit-sharing bonuses that are attractive to applicants evaluating their long-term plans in a competitive market.
“It’s really no secret that Uline takes care of its employees,” said De Las Alas. “Our industry-leading wages and commitment to helping our people advance their career really motivate employees to work hard and see their future at Uline.”
