ThedaCare: Barbara Beuscher joins ThedaCare as chief philanthropy officer and senior vice president

NEENAH, Wis. – ThedaCare leaders are pleased to announce Barbara Beuscher CFRE, will join the organization as Chief Philanthropy Officer and Senior Vice President. In this role, Beuscher will lead the ThedaCare Family of Foundations. ThedaCare Family of Foundations serves as ThedaCare’s philanthropic partner in creating and transforming health and care experiences that exceed expectations every day. Through philanthropic advancements, Beuscher will support growth opportunities that align with the ThedaCare mission of improving the health and well-being of communities served.

“I’m honored to have been selected to lead the ThedaCare Family of Foundations, which inspires giving, and funds initiatives that improve the health of the communities we serve, and provides exceptional health care experiences,” said Beuscher. “I look forward to working collaboratively with ThedaCare leaders, partners, donors and community volunteers, to continue the important work that enhances the care for patients and families.” 

Beuscher received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where she also earned her Executive MBA and was selected for the Chancellor’s EMBA Scholarship. She recently held the position of Vice President for Advancement at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. She has also held various advancement and development positions at Malone University, University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Marian University and Ripon College.

In addition to her work in philanthropy, Beuscher is committed to actively being involved in community organizations, including Erie Estate Planning Council, Leadership Stark, The Workshops, Inc. Twi, Peace Lutheran Church, Oshkosh Area United Way, American Red Cross and more. Upon her return to Central Wisconsin, she looks forward to re-engaging with and serving local non-profit agencies.

Beuscher will begin her role at ThedaCare on May 15, 2023.
