PPG: Names Jeff Lasselle site director, Oak Creek site

PPG has appointed Jeff Lasselle as site director of its Oak Creek, Wis. site. Lasselle replaces Chris Campbell, who has transitioned to a global business liaison role in PPG’s Industrial Coatings business.

Lasselle will manage nearly 500 employees at the Oak Creek plant, which produces coatings for PPG’s Industrial Coatings, Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Packaging Coatings businesses.

“Jeff will be an excellent addition to our operations,” said Jesus Valencia, PPG global operations improvement director, Industrial Coatings. “His years of experience and the variety of positions that he has held will be invaluable in supporting productivity growth and sustainability initiatives. He will also be instrumental in engaging with employees and the communities that we serve.”

Over the past 30 years, Lasselle has served in several manufacturing leadership positions. As corporate officer and vice president of Aldrich Chemical Company, LLC, Lasselle successfully led a team of 700 employees that ramped-up large-scale production of a pharmaceutical product used to create COVID-19 vaccines. Most recently at Millipore Sigma, Lasselle managed operations across three different Wisconsin sites. While there, he improved planning processes, resulting in more efficient and effective production operations, improved inventory control and enhanced customer service.

Lasselle holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Bucknell University, a Master of Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University and an Executive Certificate from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
