Neville Public Museum: Morbid Curiosities the Exhibit & Nightmares at The Neville Movie Series

Green Bay, WI—September 27, 2023— The Neville Public Museum has thousands of artifacts in our collection. Most of them are regular items you would expect people to use in their everyday lives. Others, however, have a more disturbing or macabre past.

Each October, artifacts are taken from the collection and displayed to the public. These artifacts tell the stories of the people who made and used them, and demonstrate societal and moral changes.

The 2023 Morbid Curiosities exhibit was curated by Rose Lemerande, who interned at the Museum from May through August of 2023. She graduated from Preble High School and is starting her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology at UW-Milwaukee this year.

Morbid Curiosities will be on display through November 5, 2023.
