IBEW Local 494: To attend White House forum Communities in Action: Building a Better Wisconsin

Milwaukee, WI – International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 494 Business Manager and Financial Secretary, Dean A. Warsh; along with Milwaukee Electrical JATC apprentice and WRTP | Big Step alumni Jessica Berndt, to attend “Communities in Action: Building a Better Wisconsin” event in Washington D.C. at the White House this week on the morning of Thursday, February 16th. 

Part of a White House series, this in-person half-day forum will feature local elected officials and leaders from throughout Wisconsin who are working on behalf of their communities to create opportunities and improve the lives of everyday people. 

Attendees will each share real-life examples and personal stories that highlight the impact that Biden-Harris programs have had on them and how administration investments have benefitted their communities. They will also be able to share the work they are leading, or are a part of themselves and discuss how the administration’s agenda has created the jobs and new opportunities that Wisconsin needs to take us into the future. The event will also include a discussion on ways to continue to partner with the Biden-Harris administration and identify new opportunities that can be brought back to Wisconsin.
