[GREEN BAY, WIS.] On July 15, Green Bay Doulas and House of Hope will host the 6th annual Diaper Green Bay diaper drive to benefit infants and families in our community experiencing homelessness and housing instability. The drive will raise diapers, wipes, funds, and awareness about family and childhood homelessness and the many families in need of clean, dry diapers throughout Green Bay. Businesses and organizations in the community will serve as diaper drop-off locations from June 19 to July 15, 2023.

One in three families in America struggles to provide their babies with clean diapers. Unfortunately, there are few public resources to alleviate this problem. Food assistance programs do not cover diapers, most licensed daycare facilities require disposable diapers, and most laundromats do not allow the washing of cloth diapers due to sanitary concerns. This can lead to babies being kept in dirty diapers for extended periods of time, causing both physical and emotional suffering for many little ones.

Green Bay Doulas and House of Hope have partnered to raise awareness for these babies and families. Since its inception in 2018, Diaper Green Bay has raised more than 280,000 diapers. The 2023 goal is to collect 50,000 diapers to help families in need in the Green Bay area. Please help by contributing diapers and baby wipes! Open or partial packages of diapers are acceptable. The most needed items are larger diapers (sizes 4-7) and potty-training pants (Pull-Ups) in all sizes. Donations benefit House of Hope and other local organizations.

The final collection event will be held at House of Hope on Saturday, July 15. The public is invited to stop by between 10 am and 2 pm to donate diapers and wipes. Snacks will be served, and tours of the shelter will be offered. The Brown County Library Bookmobile will also be onsite!

Please join us in making a difference for babies and their families right here in our community. More information about drop-off locations and sponsorship opportunities is available online at or
