Fox World Travel: Restructures business travel team, expands services

OSHKOSH, Wis. (Feb. 1, 2023) – Fox World Travel, a nationally recognized travel company in the U.S., restructured its business travel team to support corporate travel customers and take its business travel services to the next level.

Fox increased its business travel operations team by 43% in 2022, primarily adding additional frontline associates to provide direct support to travelers. In 2023, corporate travel will continue to recover. In preparation for this increase in business travel, Fox World Travel updated its structure, allowing its business travel team to further scale and meet demand, as well as strengthen associate engagement and provide career development opportunities for its team.

“Fox has surpassed pre-pandemic travel demand levels and we are preparing ourselves to accommodate continued growth while still delivering customized, value-focused, results-driven travel programs to corporate travel managers,” explained George Kalka, vice president of business travel at Fox World Travel. “These personnel changes allow us to strengthen our delivery of customer travel requests while simultaneously positioning us with our long-term strategy to be the best place to work, grow and succeed.”

As a result of this organizational change, Fox World Travel announces three internal promotions to senior leadership positions within its business travel team. This investment in team members aligns with Fox’s long-term view of employment by providing career growth opportunities for current associates.

Alisha Lembke was appointed senior director of business travel operations. In this role, Lembke will lead the business travel operations team and strategic initiatives, drive continuous improvement of key business impact metrics and champion leadership development to support associate engagement. She has more than 12 years of experience providing leadership to Fox’s business travel teams.

Wanda Burdick moved from director of business operations to director of group and international travel. Burdick has been a part of the Fox family since 2013.

Carmel Muccio was appointed to director of specialty services. Before this promotion, Muccio spent nearly five years within the Fox family as a team manager and a supervisor.

Fox World Travel has created two additional key positions on its business travel team, including director of domestic travel and contact center administrator. The director of domestic travel will lead a focused team of excellence within the business travel team. The focus of the contact center administrator will be to provide operational support for contact center technology functions, workforce planning and scheduling to optimize quality, efficiency and consistency of front-line service delivery.
