GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN – Downtown Green Bay hosts the 39th Annual Prevea Green Bay Holiday Parade on Saturday, November 18th from 10 – 11 a.m. on Jefferson, Cherry, and Washington Streets. With the theme Let it Snow, this year’s exciting lineup includes giant balloons, special guests, live music, and post-parade meet and greets.
Frank and Amy of Let Me Be Frank Productions will perform festive tunes in front of the Brown County Courthouse from 9 – 10 a.m. to kickoff the holiday cheer. Mayor Eric Genrich will talk with children on the street just before the parade starts and then count down to the 10:00 a.m. start.
After the parade, there will be three character meet and greets at local businesses that are free to the public. Follow Santa and his reindeer to the YWCA (230 S Madison St) for a meet and greet, photo-op, and bake sale.
The Snow Princesses and their Snowman Friend will be the Grand Marshals in the parade and will be at Hotel Northland (304 N Adams St) after the parade.
Meet the Grinch at the Ferguson Family YMCA (235 N Jefferson St) from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. There will also be free activities like cookie decorating, crafts, a bouncy house, and hot chocolate.
This year, the parade will be recorded and aired on later dates on NBC 26 and TV 32. Air times can be found here.
