Downtown District: St. Patrick’s Day parade & Post-Parade party

GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN, March 18th – Celebrate Irish heritage and culture in Downtown Green Bay at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade presented by Cellcom. On Saturday, March 18th, the parade will begin at 10 a.m. near Hagemeister Park on the CityDeck. The parade will march along the CityDeck and the Fox River Trail, ending at St. Brendan’s Inn.

In partnership with the Shamrock Club of Green Bay and St. Brendan’s Inn, the parade highlights local Irish culture with Irish family clans, Shamrock Club cosplayers, an Irish wolf hound, and other exciting parade participants.

Parade-goers can follow the parade down the Fox River Trail to St. Brendan’s Inn for the post-parade party with food, entertainment, family games, and more! Food vendor Minzo’s Kitchen will be on-site serving corned beef brisket plates and Irish beer cheese & bacon soup. St. Brendan’s restaurant will also be open and serving traditional Irish food and brews.

The Heritage Academy of Irish Dance, O’Darby Irish Pub Band, and the Notre Dame Marching Band will be performing at St. Brendan’s Inn.

“In these drab months at the end of winter, everyone needs an excuse to get out and have a little fun,” states Jeff Mirkes, Executive Director of Downtown Green Bay, Inc. “The St. Patrick’s Day Parade brings people together to enjoy music, share a few drinks, and celebrate Irish culture in Green Bay. It’s also an opportunity to increase foot traffic downtown and support local small businesses.”
