3 Sheeps Brewing Co.: Female brewery representatives unite, fundraise for Sojourner

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (February 28, 2023) – Eight female brewery representatives from nine different breweries spanning the Midwest collaborate to celebrate Women’s Month. For the second consecutive year, initiatives raise awareness of females in the male-dominated craft beer industry while raising funds for Milwaukee-based Sojourner Family Peace Center (familypeacecenter.org), the largest nonprofit provider of domestic violence prevention and intervention services in Wisconsin.

A hazy IPA featuring peach and raspberry, along with a special blend of hops, 1987 is available at the taproom and the brewery will donate $1 for each pint sold from March 1-31, 2023, to Sojourner.

Kate Robinson, a member of the 3 Sheeps cellar team, led the charge on the collaboration brew.

“Leading this brew was very meaningful to me. We have an incredible group of ladies at 3 Sheeps working in production, sales, and our taproom, and we were all extremely excited to drive the creation and production of this beer from beginning to end. We wanted to make a beer that represented us and also 3 Sheeps, and that would help raise a lot of money for a great organization that does so much good for women in need. This was my first chance to create a beer, and I am very proud of how it turned out.”

3 Sheeps Brewing Co. selects a non-profit organization to support every month ranging from food pantries to The Human Society, to organizations like Sojourner Family Peace Center. The brewery has supported the Women’s Month initiatives since its inception in 2022 as one of the five inaugural brewery participants.

Limited-edition Women’s Month Beer will be available on draft at the 3 Sheeps Brewing Co. Taproom and at bars that are hosting the special Women’s Month events listed above.

Several grocery and liquor stores will display participating breweries’ products with a special Women’s Month Display with QR Code for online donations. Donations can also be made online at www.familypeacecenter.org/donate.
