Franklin – Wangard Partners, Inc. (Wangard), a Milwaukee-based full-service real estate company, will reveal its most recent milestone today, Wednesday, October 26th, with the opening of the first of two industrial buildings at the Franklin Corporate Park. The modern industrial facility will be part of a two-phase business center, with each building totaling 236,000 square feet.

Located at 3617 W. Oakwood Road, construction of Building 1 at the Franklin Corporate Park began in November of 2021. Wangard is now gearing up for the next phase of development at the site. The city of Franklin is currently constructing Hickory Road, which, when completed later this year, will connect Oakwood Road to Elm Road, providing direct access to the nearby I94 interchange for tenants of the Franklin Corporate Park. The city is also working to remove power lines that run across the southern portion of the site.
Wangard anticipated the site preparation work to be completed in mid-2023. Construction will begin on the second building once the power lines have been relocated. Building 2 is modeled after Building 1; however, it can also be expanded to 400,0000 square feet to accommodate a specific tenant.
Building 2 of Franklin Corporate Park is expected to be completed in 2024. Once construction is finished, Wangard anticipates the building will draw substantial interest from local and national corporations thanks to its ideal location on an industrial corridor near the I94 interchange and a large labor force demographic nearby.
