My business partner, Margaret Erickson, and I are so pleased to offer the gorgeous views, modern comforts, and relaxing spaces my mother created for others to enjoy,” said Katherine Hayes, daughter of the late Mary Rice and co-owner of Queen’s View. “We’ve done our best to honor Mary by maintaining the whimsy she nurtured and know she would be happy to see the space continuing to welcome all who come through the door.”

“We are elated to be welcoming this new business to the Bayfield area,” said Bayfield Chamber & Visitor Bureau Executive Director Carol Fahrenkrog. “I can’t think of a better use of the space and believe Katherine and Margaret and their team are off to a great start.”

Queen’s View is located atop a hill overlooking Lake Superior in beautiful Bayfield, Wisconsin. Queen’s View provides sweeping views of Lake Superior and the 22 Apostle Islands; 21 of the islands make up the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore.

The stately Queen Anne home offers a wrap-around porch, curated gardens, shared common areas, and additional outdoor spaces.
