On Broadway, Inc: Recognizes Volunteers of the Year

GREEN BAY, Wis. — On Broadway, Inc. is excited to announce the Volunteer of the Year award was given to Francine and Ken Rovinski. The honor was announced at the State of the Broadway District on February 22.

This married pair helped set up at every Farmers’ Market on Broadway in 2021 and are already signed up to volunteer for this same task in the 2022 season. They were also instrumental in the execution of the district’s fall and winter decor. They spent countless hours driving On Broadway staff back and forth to pick up hay bales. They also provided a trailer and truck to transport the 20-foot Christmas Tree that went up in Red Sculpture Park for the Lighting Ceremony on Broadway.

“Ken and Fran were an easy choice when it came time to pick our volunteer of the year,” said Quincy Fassbender, program manager, On Broadway, Inc. “They are the most adorable package deal who always shows up when we need them. This pair is passionate about the Broadway District and always volunteer for the harder to fill roles with a smile.”

Awards were also handed out for those serving 100+ Hours, 50+ Hours, and the Group 100+ Hours. If you’d like to volunteer with On Broadway, email Quincy Fassbender or call her at 920-655-7525.
