Multicultural Coalition, Inc. and Pointters Community Initiatives: Offer free COVID-19 vaccination event at St. James United Methodist Church in Appleton

APPLETON, Wis. (Feb. 9, 2022) – On Saturday, Feb. 12 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., the Multicultural Coalition, Inc. and Pointters Community Initiatives will hold the second-dose event for a free COVID-19 vaccination at St. James United Methodist Church, located at 100 W. Capitol Dr. in Appleton (map). The community-led event features interpreters for those who speak Hmong or Spanish, snacks, free books for kids, diapers and personal hygiene products for those who need them.  

The Pfizer vaccine will be available for anyone ages five and older; those under 18-years-old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Adults are able to receive their choice of either the Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccines. First, second and/or booster shots will be provided. ID and health insurance are not required.

The vaccination clinic will be hosted by multiple community partners including Multicultural Coalition, Inc., United Way Fox Cities, Red Shoes Inc., Pointters Community Initiatives, Partnership Community Health Center, CAP Services, N.E.W. Hmong Professionals and Casa Hispana Inc.
