SHOREWOOD, WI – (April 13, 2022)- MalamaDoe – A Coworking Community for Women is celebrating having been open for five years. MalamaDoe was one of the first women’s coworking spaces in the country to open in 2017.  It hails its community-centric approach over the years for its growth and success.
Please join MalamaDoe founder, members, alumni, and supporters for a Five Year Anniversary Celebration.
Tuesday, May 3rd from 7-9 pm MalamaDoe – A Coworking Community for Women 4465 N. Oakland Avenue, Suite 110, Shorewood, WI 53211 More information available and to RSVP visit this Eventbrite link.
Since its opening in 2017, MalamaDoe has tripled its square footage to nearly 3000 square feet. It continues to offer Hot Pods as it did when it opened, which allow for usage of WiFi at available desks and reservations of conference rooms and event spaces. In addition, MalamaDoe’s added 13 private offices which are now 92% occupied and offers a Club membership for those who seek a supportive business community.
To meet demand, the size and location of the conference rooms and event space has grown and spread to different floors in the building.  Additionally, MalamaDoe built out a large 440 square foot event space to host events and speakers.
Over the course of five years giving tours, MalamaDoe’s founder, Sheila Long, created and fine-tuned an incubator model for women owned businesses while listening to and researching the commonalities of their personal and professional needs.  She published it in an Amazon #1 New Release book entitled Surrounded by Awesome Women, which is available on Amazon or can be signed at the event.
MalamaDoe currently has 27 members and approximately 100 alumni.
