APPLETON, WI – In an effort to showcase and support small businesses in the Fox Valley throughout 2022, Herrling Clark Law Firm will stage a monthly giveaway of $1,000 in gift cards from local businesses the first Wednesday of each month, beginning this week on Wednesday Jan. 5th.

Anyone can participate in the We’re With You Wednesday giveaway simply by commenting on the “gift cards of the month” posted on Herrling Clark’s Facebook account the first Wednesday morning of each month. Those who comment before 7 p.m. that evening will be entered into a drawing with winners announced the following Thursday morning.

“This is a fun way to put a spotlight on local businesses, many of them small businesses that are really the heart of our community,” said Kristen Scheuerman, a partner at Herrling Clark, which has been a part of the Fox Valley community for more than 50 years. “There are so many great retail outlets, restaurants, and service providers in our community and we want to help generate customer traffic and overall awareness of those businesses. We also want to try and bring our community a little closer together in the process.”

Herrling Clark initially launched We’re With You Wednesday in March 2020 as a response to the pandemic and “Safer at Home” orders that adversely impacted many local businesses. The effort took place over several months and continued with periodic returns in 2021. Since its inception, We’re With You Wednesday has engaged more than 100,000 people and showcased more than 100 local businesses.

For 2022, participants will have extra ways to increase their chances to win. While not required, sharing one’s post on Herrling Clark’s Facebook or Instagram accounts earns one extra entry. Also, while not required, a “like” of the Facebook pages for any of the participating businesses will earn extra entries in an effort to raise greater awareness of local businesses.
