MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Greater Milwaukee Urban League has opened a new satellite office at 3410 W. Silver Spring Drive.
The new site is located in the World Outreach Center.
“The new satellite office will enhance our capabilities to prepare people seeking employment. We intend to help create a human pipeline of talent for employment in five targeted prime industries in the Milwaukee area: technology, manufacturing, health care, construction and the skilled trades,” said Dr. Eve M. Hall, president and CEO of the Greater Milwaukee Urban League.
The organization invites the community to attend an open house to celebrate the new satellite office on Thursday, Oct. 13, from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Families can learn more about the GMUL’s employment and educational opportunities, advocacy roles and more. The event is free and open to the public.
The media is invited to attend the open house, where Dr. Hall will be available for interviews about the GMUL’s programs.
