Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce: Announces next “Grow with Google” training session

Fox Cities, Wis. (October 21, 2022) – The Fox Cities Chamber, as part of their partnership with “Grow with Google,” is offering members the second in a series of free educational offerings on Wednesday, November 9. The event, “Get Your Local Business on Google Search and Maps,” will be held via live webinar from 8 – 9 a.m.

In this webinar hosted by Google certified speaker Dave Meyer, participants will learn about Google Business Profiles – a free tool for local businesses who want to connect with customers on Google Search and Maps. Meyer will walk participants through creating or claiming their Business Profile, managing their business info across Google Search and Maps, using Business Profile to connect with potential customers, and creating a free website using info from their Business Profile.

Grow with Google is a national initiative that offers digital tools, resources, and training to help local business adapt, grow and better serve the community. The presenter, Dave Meyer, is a Grow with Google speaker with more than 20 years of experience in marketing and communications and has presented digital marketing topics to thousands of people across the U.S. and Canada. Dave’s presentations include more than 300 webinars on topics like SEO, advertising, content marketing, and sales strategy. Dave was named 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year by the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce in Minneapolis, and has been recognized by organizations including the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), the Association of Builders and Contractors (ABC) and many others as a thought leader in marketing and communications. 

Dave has a BA in Journalism and an MBA in Venture Management (Entrepreneurship) from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. The November 9th webinar is free for Fox Cities Chamber members.
