Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative: Statement on Taylor nomination for trade position

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative issued the following statement today about President Biden’s intent to nominate Alexis Taylor as undersecretary for trade and foreign agricultural affairs at the Department of Agriculture.

“Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative is pleased to see the Biden administration has selected a likely nominee for the key position of undersecretary for trade and foreign agricultural affairs at the Department of Agriculture. Alexis Taylor’s extensive experience will help her hit the ground running at this critical time for agricultural trade. We congratulate Ms. Taylor and look forward to working with her if she is confirmed. Having this long-vacant position filled has been a priority for the cooperative since President Biden took office.”
