Bank Five Nine: Donates to Saving Others for Archie (SOFA)’s annual event, ‘Jump for Archie”

Oconomowoc, Wis. – Bank Five Nine recently donated $2,500 to Saving Others for Archie (SOFA) Inc. for their 8 th Annual Jump for Archie. The Annual Jump for Archie day of community action will take place in a new location this year. Members of the public are invited to Fowler Lake Park (438 N. Oakwood Ave., Oconomowoc) for an afternoon of great live music, food, and fun that also fights the opioid crisis and mental health stigma. Activities begin at 3 pm.

The free unique event will feature a benefit concert and group awareness jumps into Fowler Lake; a memorial vigil; mental health, wellness, fitness and recovery resources; and food trucks in a fun community environment. The 2nd Annual 988 5k Suicide Prevention Walk/Run will also return.

“The Jump for Archie helps bring awareness to important issues, while also bringing the community together,” said Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow. “Substance use disorder affects the entire community, and it’s important for people to understand help and resources are available.”

The Jump for Archie is hosted by Saving Others for Archie (SOFA) Inc. The mission of SOFA Inc. is to serve grassroots efforts in the furtherance of substance use prevention through raising awareness of the relationship between addiction and mental health issues.
