A.C.E. Building Service: Completes renovation for Manitowoc-based nonprofit organization

Manitowoc, WI (May 16, 2022) A.C.E. Building Service, a Northeast Wisconsin-based provider of commercial and industrial construction services, announced the completion of a renovation project for The Crossing of Manitowoc County, a non-profit, Christian-based organization that provides emotional, educational, material, and spiritual support to clients, to empower them to become strong and resilient families.

The organization selected a new office that was formerly home to a medical clinic. The interior renovation took place in approximately 7,400 square feet that included their new base of operations and move-in ready space for tenants.

“We enjoyed helping a great organization create a lighter, more inviting space for their clients that is also functional for operations and adequate in size,” said Chris Herzog, president of A.C.E. Building Service.

While some areas of The Crossing of Manitowoc County’s office were required to be secured, an open and welcoming feeling now flows throughout the space. Elements such as borrowed lite window frames and doors that created sight lines are incorporated to create a feeling of openness. To ensure costs remained manageable, the existing footprint of the space was used as much as possible to keep renovation costs in check, including the conversion of the former MRI suite into an intake area for donations.

“Working with ACE has been an amazing process and I always felt they had my best interest at heart,” said Belinda Esquinas-Gilbert, Executive Director of The Crossing of Manitowoc County. “It was easy to get a hold of their team, and they communicated clearly and in a timely manner. We are so happy with our new office space, it looks refreshed and updated.”
