WAUWATOSA, Wis. – Learn more about Milwaukee-area early stage investment funds when the Tech Council Innovation Network kicks off its 2022 luncheon schedule Thursday, Jan. 13 at the UW-Milwaukee Innovation Accelerator.

The event will take place at UWM’s Innovation Accelerator, 1225 Discovery Parkway. Registration, networking and hors d’oeuvres start at 11:30 a.m. and the presentation at 12:30 p.m. The cost is $10 for students and returning veterans, $25 for individual members, $35 for non-members and included for Tech Council corporate members. Click here to register and read our COVID-19 policy.

Panelists thus include Dan Einhorn, general partner of Capital Midwest Fund, which just closed its fourth round in excess of $41 million; and Guy Mascari, secretary of Milwaukee Venture Partners, a new angel investing group in the Milwaukee area.

“We’re excited to hear from investment groups that operate at different points in the early stage spectrum regarding what kind of deals potentially interest them, investment trends they see, and how young companies can better prepare themselves to talk with investors,” said Tom Still, president of the Wisconsin Technology Council.

This event is sponsored by UW-Milwaukee and UWM Research Foundation.
