Come out to Downtown Sun Prairie for the fourth annual Fall Beer Taste – Downtown Sun Prairie’s Oktoberfest! Presented by the Sun Prairie Downtown Business Improvement District (BID), the event is scheduled for Saturday, September 18 from 1:00-4:00PM.
Over 20 Downtown Sun Prairie businesses will be participating in the event. Local business will be pouring 3oz. samples of up to two flavors of a fall beer, ale, or cider, and are encouraged to provide light snacks to event attendees.
The event and all participating businesses will follow all Dane County Public Health COVID 19 health orders.
As event attendees travel from one participating business to another, Oktoberfest style musical entertainment will also be throughout Downtown Sun Prairie and at various businesses. The musical entertainment line-up includes a variety of music from Ed Ford and the Steve Meisner Band.
Tickets for the event can be purchased online at EventBrite.com by searching “Sun Prairie Fall Beer Taste” or at fallbeertaste2021.eventbrite.com. Standard event tickets are $30.00; designated driver tickets are available for $10.00. Designated drivers will receive all of the appetizers, business specials, and activities offered.
The BID Board voted General Distributors as the primary beer distributor for this event. BID Board Chair Adam Bougie is excited to be working with General Beer Distributors for this year’s Fall Beer Taste. “The BID Board is excited to partner with General Beer Distributors this year. They have a great selection of beers and ciders from local Wisconsin breweries. The BID Board is happy to host the Fall Beer Taste in Downtown Sun Prairie again. Business owners are looking forward to seeing the community out and about,” said Bougie.
