Security Health Plan: Names director of pharmacy services

MARSHFIELD, Wis. – Security Health Plan of Wisconsin, Inc., has named Michael Chester director of pharmacy services.

Chester will provide strategic and operational leadership of Security Health Plan’s pharmacy and prescription benefit programs. To ensure Security Health Plan members receive affordable, high-quality pharmacy benefit programs, he will identify opportunities to optimize how members use their prescriptions and other pharmacy services.

Chester holds both a master’s and bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from UW-Madison and completed his residency program at University of Wisconsin Hospital. He brings 30 years of experience in managed care and pharmacy leadership positions at various health plans throughout Wisconsin. He most recently served as the director of pharmacy for WPS Health Insurance and its subsidiary, Arise Health Plan.
