Prospera Credit Union: Hosts estate planning seminar

MENASHA, Wis. (Nov. 4, 2021) – Prospera Credit Union in partnership with McCarty Law is offering a free seminar to help individuals learn about protecting their assets from nursing home costs. Prospera will hold the workshop on Wednesday, November 17 at 6 p.m. at Boys & Girls Club of Menasha, located at 600 Racine Street (map).

This estate planning educational seminar will include an individually boxed meal and will have chairs set up for proper social distancing. Masks are highly encouraged.

This workshop will cover:

  • Differences between wills, living wills and living trusts
  • How a health care Power of Attorney (POA) compares to a durable POA
  • The details of what is included in an estate plan
  • Strategies to determine which estate planning tools are best for you

The information in this seminar is applicable to those who want to learn more about estate planning or are planning for retirement.
