On Broadway Inc.: Bay Area Workforce Development Board moves to new space in Broadway District

GREEN BAY, WI – The Bay Area Workforce Development Board is hosting an open house on October 12 from 3-5:30 p.m. at their new office located at 520 North Broadway in Suite 320.

A ribbon cutting will take place at 4:30 p.m. and include remarks from City of Green Bay Mayor Eric Genrich; Troy Streckenbach, Brown County Executive; Matt Valiquette, Executive Director for the Bay Area Workforce Development Board; Chuck Dallas, Bay Area Workforce Development Board Chair; and Brian Johnson, Executive Director for On Broadway, Inc.

Light refreshments and drinks will be served after the ribbon cutting ceremony. Tours of the facility will also be offered.

“We watched what Base Companies was doing in the Railyard, in the Broadway District, and were thoroughly impressed by the way they honored the history while infusing modern technology and design,” said Valiquette. “Our own organization was undergoing a similar transformation and we felt strongly that this location was a perfect fit. We recognized the need to invest in enhanced technologies and a biophilic office space design, which the Railyard possesses while physically positioning us with other key community-based organizations and stakeholders.”

“Bay Area Workforce Development Board represents an organization that has found value in being located in the Broadway District for many years. When it came time to select a new office, they chose to stay in the district demonstrating the strong demand for space along the Broadway corridor,” said Johnson. “Moreover, a new tenant is already lined up to occupy their former space paving the way for another quality organization to join our business community. We’re thrilled to grow the base of office users that patronize the many small businesses and restaurants that comprise the Broadway District.”
