Milwaukee Press Club: Medical College President and CEO John Raymond to headline Newsmaker Lunch Hour

MILWAUKEE – Dr. John Raymond, president and CEO of the Medical College of Wisconsin, will be the featured guest at a virtual Newsmaker Lunch Hour set for noon on Tuesday, November 2.
 
Raymond is a practicing nephrologist who has led the Medical College since July 1, 2010.
Throughout the pandemic, Raymond has been a widely recognized authority on COVID-19 and its impact on Wisconsin and the greater Milwaukee area. He recently was named person if the year for 2021 by the Rotary Club of Milwaukee, Communicator of the year by the Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter of PRSA and Public Health Leader of the Year by the Milwaukee Business Journal.
 
Raymond will provide an update on the state of the pandemic in Milwaukee and throughout Wisconsin and what might lie ahead as vaccination efforts continue and variants run their course.
 
He will take questions from a panel of journalists and from the audience at the luncheon, to be moderated by Milwaukee Press Club President Corrinne Hess, reporter for Wisconsin Public Radio.
