Milwaukee Press Club: DHS Deputy Secretary Julie Willems Van Dijk headlines newsmaker lunch hour

MILWAUKEE – Julie Willems Van Dijk, deputy secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, will be the featured guest at a virtual event set for noon on Monday, March 29. This Newsmaker Lunch Hour is presented by a partnership between the Milwaukee Press Club, and  WisPolitics.com.
 
Prior to joining DHS, Willems Van Dijk was Director of County Health Rankings and Roadmaps, a national collaboration between the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. She previously served as Marathon County Public Health Officer and was elected to the Wausau School District Board.
 
Willems Van Dijk will field questions from a panel of journalists from noon to 1 p.m., moderated by Milwaukee Press Club President Corrinne Hess, reporter for Wisconsin Public Radio.
