Marcus & Millichap: Arranges the sale of a 40,566-square-foot self-storage facility

ELKHORN, WISCONSIN, March 10, 2021 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of Highway 43 Self Storage, a 40,566-square-foot self-storage facility located in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, according to Grant Fitzgerald, Regional Manager of the firm’s Columbus office.

Brett R. Hatcher and Gabriel Coe, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Columbus office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company.  Brett Hatcher, the lead broker for the seller, said, “The Hatcher Group of Marcus & Millichap is excited to have another collaboration within the company and it’s exciting to see the Marcus & Millichap platform work for another client.”  Tony Sanicola of Marcus & Millichap’s Milwaukee Office worked with the buyer in this transaction to divest a portion of his apartment portfolio and 1031 exchange the proceeds into this self-storage asset. Highway 43 Self Storage is located at 801 E Centralia Street in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.  The facility features 124 climate-controlled units and 166 non-climate-controlled units, totaling 40,566 net rentable square feet. They also offer 39 outdoor parking spaces for rent.
