Lakefront Brewery: To raise money and hope

Lakefront Brewery, selected as Wisconsin’s representative to brew this year’s “Rising Hope” beer in a partnership with the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation to raise funds for vital cancer research.

MILWAUKEE (November 2nd, 2021) – Raise money and hope, drink Rising Hope IPA. The newest taproom only brew from Lakefront Brewery, “Rising Hope IPA” is generating proceeds to help children battle cancer. Each year the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation partners with one brewery in each state, to brew a special beer to help fund pediatric cancer research. Lakefront is honored to be selected as this year’s Wisconsin representative.

The ingredients for the beer were donated by Yakima Chief Hops, Country Malt Group, and Amoretti fruit. The same beer is being brewed by one brewery in each state across the country. This year’s brew is a Hazy IPA with passion fruit, orange, and guava. The profits from every pint purchased will be donated to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation. The funds will go to researching less toxic, more targeted treatments for children battling cancer.

“This seemed like an easy decision for such an important and worthy cause”, says Brewery President Russ Klisch, “come on down and have a pint, knowing you’re contributing.”

This Thursday, November 4th, Lakefront Brewery will be doubling their donation for every pint sold in celebration of the beer’s release. The beer should be on tap for the month of November.
