On the Inauguration of the 46th President of United States, Joseph R. Biden, Jr., and the historic inauguration of the first woman of color as Vice President, Kamala Harris, Main Street Alliance leadership had this to say:

“Main Street Alliance congratulates President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris on a historic day. Small businesses look forward to working with this new team on policies that support communities and level the playing field for small businesses.

It has been a long road to this moment, and small businesses still stand in the midst of a crisis. The Biden-Harris administration will be facing significant challenges as they begin their term, but Main Street is hopeful for a brighter future.

Small businesses owners are looking forward to the stability, and commitment to building thriving, equitable communities exemplified by the Day One actions. Main Street Alliance and our members stand ready to work with and hold accountable this new administration in tackling both this immediate covid crisis and long standing challenges around access to capital, technical assistance and other small business priorities.
