Greater Oshkosh: EDC CEO submits resignation

OSHKOSH – March 9, 2021 – Jason White, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Oshkosh Economic Development Corporation, has announced his resignation from the organization, with intentions to depart next month. White has accepted a position closer to family in Iowa.

Despite White’s departure, the organization’s staff, board, and stakeholders plan to build upon the work and accomplishments of Greater Oshkosh EDC since the organization was founded in 2015 as the region’s first private-public economic development corporation.
Ken Arneson, Greater Oshkosh EDC Board Chair, and CEO of Evergreen Retirement Community will lead transition efforts. “Jason’s efforts to take care of area companies, entrepreneurs, and build workforce resulted in creating a stronger region. The organization has a talented team and enjoys important community support. The board wishes Jason well and will actively seek a new leader for Greater Oshkosh.”

Jason said that he will miss Oshkosh and the Fox Valley region. “I moved my family here from the Des Moines area six years ago for the opportunity to launch something new and incredible in a city with one of the world’s most recognizable names. The support from this organization’s founding investors sustained me during the early years while we worked to gain traction in the community. I am proud to leave the organization in a strong and respected position.”
