JANESVILLE – After a fairly extensive interview process in 2020 Forward Janesville has asked QTI Group’s executive search team led by CEO Londa Dewey to assist FJ in finding its new leader. “We have been incredibly lucky to have had John willing to remain in his role in a year that required all hands-on deck at Forward Janesville”, shared Tim Lindau, FJ Board Chair. “At the outset John encouraged the board to take the time to find the right leader for our organization and not have his retirement force our decision. We took him up on that offer. We met great candidates, but ultimately we wanted to expand our search.”
A search committee of eight including board members and representatives from member organizations, will now partner with The QTI Group to find John’s successor. “We appreciate John’s experience and talent, and we are confident that in partnering with the QTI Group, we will find an exceptional candidate to lead Forward Janesville into the future” comments Oakleigh Ryan, Search Chair.
The QTI Group has extensive experience leading successful search processes finding talent to lead not-for-profit searches with a focus on leadership positions for organizations in Wisconsin. QTI is excited to partner Forward Janesville members, the Search Committee, and the Forward Janesville Board of Directors to find the right successor to lead Forward Janesville’s strategy into the future. To begin the search process, The QTI Group will be conducting a survey over the next few weeks to gather input on the characteristics and expectations of the next leader as well as the future of the organization. The search is scheduled to be launched in early March.
“The pandemic has pushed back our timeline to find a new successor by a year but that is okay. It is in time of crisis that you learn what matters and what truly creates value for our members. The last year has really helped solidify the CEO leadership profile for us” shared Oakleigh.
