GREEN BAY | MADISON | MILWAUKEE | MINNEAPOLIS – Today DeWitt LLP law firm announced its Human Relations Manager Jess A. Beyer was elected President of the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (WALA) effective April 1, 2021.
As President, Beyer will ensure WALA continues to provide extensive professional development, collaborative peer communities, strategic operational solutions, and business partner connections to empower its members to lead the business of law.
Beyer has more than 20 years of law firm experience. She is a certified Network Administrator and ALA Certified Legal Manager (CLM). She is also an active volunteer on the Communications Committee, Lawyer Well-Being Task Force, and Lawyer Assistance Program with the State Bar of Wisconsin.
WALA was chartered on January 16, 1978. Its mission is to improve the quality of management in legal services organizations by promoting and enhancing the competence and professionalism of legal administrators and all members of the management team. WALA is a chapter of the national Association of Legal Administrators which was founded in 1971 to support professionals involved in the management of law firms, corporate legal departments and government legal agencies.
