Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce: Seeks new executive director

COTTAGE GROVE, WIS.—The Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce announces the recruitment of a new executive director will begin immediately. Current Executive Director Paula Severson has accepted the Cottage Grove branch manager position with longtime chamber member Bank of Sun Prairie effective May 3, 2021.

“The entire Cottage Grove Chamber board sincerely thanks Paula for her five years of
dedicated service to the Cottage Grove Chamber, its members and the broader community.

Paula put Cottage Grove on the map here and throughout the area with the Cottage Grove First campaign and her service on a key Dane County committee with Dane Buy Local,” said Cottage Grove Chamber President Amy Bauer, vice president and bank manager, Monona Bank, Cottage Grove. “Paula can also be credited with growing the chamber by a remarkable 70 percent from 2016 through 2020 and most recently she helped secure close to $200,000 in grants for Cottage Grove area businesses during the pandemic.”

With Bank of Sun Prairie’s support, Severson will remain involved with the Cottage
Grove Chamber on a volunteer-basis until a new executive director is named. Applicant
inquiries should be directed to Cottage Grove Chamber President Amy Bauer.

The Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce is nearly 200-members strong whose
mission is to connect members and the Cottage Grove community to grow and thrive together.
