Bayland Buildings Inc.: Impact Sports Academy announces opening of new sports facility

DE PERE, WISCONSIN – Bayland Buildings Inc. was selected as the design-build general contractor for the new 42,000 SF sports facility located at 2350 Lawrence Parkway, in the Town of Lawrence. The new facility will feature a full size infield, eight batting cages, and a 4,000 SF performance center. The new facility is ready to become a staple in it’s local community and beyond, providing growth and opportunity for all young athletes.

“We hope that ISA can become a destination for athletes from all over the state of Wisconsin as well as neighboring states. We have always prided ourselves on providing athletes of all skill sets and ages, a chance to be a part of our program. If we can continue to grow the games of baseball and softball in the community, we feel our impact on the community can be widespread!” says Jason Berken.

Jason and Emily Berken started ISA with a dream of giving local athletes an opportunity to train with highly qualified instructors and providing them with travel ball opportunities.

The Wisconsin climate restricts athletes from getting outside early in the spring, and the facility will prepare athletes at a much higher level. Taking groundballs on a full infield, facing live batters, running bases and working on outfield defense are just a few things that will make a huge difference for each athlete in the new space.

“I am extremely grateful for the support of the community and our ISA athletes that have allowed us to grow so rapidly and fulfill a lifetime dream of making an impact on youth sports in my hometown. The new facility will only enhance and create more opportunities for local athletes,” says Berken.

Jason and Emily will continue to focus on what is most important to them, the development of young athletes. “What ISA stands for will not change with the new facility, we just hope that it enhances what we already have in place. We hope to continue our growth, add more athletes to our program, and continue to impact as many athletes as possible.”

A ribbon cutting ceremony for Impact Sports Academy will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 10:00am.
