(VERONA, Wis.)—WodBottom, a fitness apparel startup that specializes in making women look and feel their strongest, has raised $250,000 in seed funding. The round was led by Nicole and Ben Raboine.

“We started the business to help as many people as possible,” Co-Founder and CEO Than Ruyle said. “This funding will allow us to continue doing that, as we love getting to create fun workout clothes and at the same time making a positive impact in women’s lives.”

The money will be used to expand WodBottom’s team—including fulfillment help—grow its subscription program, accelerate product development, shorten the timeline to meet key milestones and aggressively expand its sales and marketing efforts.

“Ben and I were ecstatic when we came upon WodBottom,” Nicole Raboine said. “WodBottom is a company that truly is about making the world better while also providing women with high-quality products and customer service.”

WodBottom makes activewear for strong-bodied women. Its unique and beautifully designed apparel includes athletic shorts, leggings, tops and more. Part of its business model is to help women truly understand their worth, which is why a portion of proceeds benefit Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS).
