With a strong background in association management after over 8 years as the Vice-President of Operations for Association Accumen, an association management company, as well as earning his Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation, Bill Elliott has served as the Executive Director of two national association clients  at the company, helping to successfully grow both organizations in both membership and revenue.

In addition, Elliott has experience with the WH&LA after serving as the Vice-President of Revenue Development and Operations at WH&LA for close to 5 years before accepting the Association Accumen position, providing him with valuable lodging industry familiarity and an understanding of issues and leaders critical to the industry.

Bill Elliott will be succeeding past long-time President, CEO Trisha Pugal, CAE, who had returned to serve as the Interim CEO over the past 4 months as WH&LA’s Search Task Force went through a successful search and selection process in retaining Elliott to lead the organization into the future.
